How the composite score works

The overall score is a weighted average of the categories: Getting the product 40%, Trust before buying 20%, Mobile 15%, Speed 15%, and Polish and audit 10%. It is never more than 10 points above the Getting the product score, because a product a visitor cannot get cannot score well on anything else, and never more than 25 points above the weakest category, so one badly broken area is not averaged away. Any issue in the main list caps it at 89, so a score above 90 means nothing worth fixing was found.

Each category starts at 100 and stays there when nothing was found in it, whether or not the inspection got that far. Each distinct verified finding deducts 60 points for a serious problem on the path from arriving to paying, 40 for another serious problem, 30, 15 or 8 by high, medium or low severity otherwise, and 4 for an audit finding. Each additional finding below the list takes 2 more points off the overall score, up to 10. Scores stop at zero and round to whole numbers. The formula is fixed and versioned, so the same saved evidence always receives the same score.

The Contract page ends with a donation sign-up banner

Freelancers and agencies deciding whether the contract module is ready are asked to create a donation form at the moment they sign up.

The closing banner on /solutions/contract/ says "Create your donation form today... start collecting donations in minutes", and its main button reads "Create your donation form". Step 3 of "Create and Send Your Contract in 3 Steps" stops at "signs the agreement,.", and the "Retainer-Based Service Providers" card describes selling event tickets. A contract buyer meets all of this on the page meant to explain the module, just before the signup button.

Medium/pricing/

Home page sells Team Access that pricing marks as planned

Teams and agencies who sign up for Team Access learn on the pricing page, right before buying Pro, that it is not available yet.

The home page, /solutions/contract/ and /solutions/ecommerce/sell-physical-products/ each have a section called "Advanced Features for All Modules", and its first card is "Team Access: Collaborate with your team by adding members to your account." On /pricing/ the Pro plan ($7/month billed annually) lists "Team Member Access (Planned)", and the Free plan does not list team access at all. A buyer comparing plans at the pricing step cannot tell whether the feature they were promised exists or which plan includes it.

Medium/solutions/event/

The event page's QR check-in preview shows a camera error

Event organisers who are judging whether door check-in works see the feature preview fail on a secure page, right before they decide to sign up.

On /solutions/event/, the Event-Day Check-in preview card puts this text under its Scan Ticket button: "Camera scanning needs a secure (HTTPS) connection. Use manual entry instead." The page itself loads over HTTPS. Higher up, the "Publish a Clear Event Agenda" block repeats the performer bullets ("Profile images, Names and roles, Biographies") where agenda features belong, so the page reads as unfinished at the step where an organiser is deciding whether to create an event.

Pro's "Get it Now" lands on a "Sign up for Free" page

Buyers who pick the paid Pro plan reach a signup page that never mentions Pro, its price or the 22% yearly discount.

On /pricing/, the Pro card shows "$7/ month" and "Billed annually", and its "Get it Now" button redirects to app.paymentform.io/signup?planSlug=pro-yearly&coupon=SAVE22. That page is headed "Sign up for Free" and shows only Google, Name, Email and Password fields, with no mention of Pro, the price or the SAVE22 discount. A buyer meets this at the signup step and cannot see the plan they chose, whether the discount carried over, or what they will be charged each year.

additional findings
Medium

The home page is missing four security response headers

The response from https://paymentform.io/ is missing Strict-Transport-Security, Content-Security-Policy, Referrer-Policy, and Cross-Origin-Resource-Policy.

Medium

The home page slider arrows have no accessible name

On the home page, the two slider arrow links (.bde-icon-408-1179 and .bde-icon-408-1180, href="#") are in the tab order but have no text, aria-label or aria-labelledby. Assistive technology announces them only as "link", so those visitors cannot tell what the controls do.

Medium

The chat widget frame declares an invalid language code

The Bit Assist chat widget iframe on / and the solution and pricing pages sets lang="en_US" on its html element. That is not a valid language tag, because it uses an underscore where en-US needs a hyphen, so assistive technology cannot reliably work out the widget's language. The main page content is not affected.
