How the composite score works
The overall score is a weighted average of the categories: Getting the product 40%, Trust before buying 20%, Mobile 15%, Speed 15%, and Polish and audit 10%. It is never more than 10 points above the Getting the product score, because a product a visitor cannot get cannot score well on anything else, and never more than 25 points above the weakest category, so one badly broken area is not averaged away. Any issue in the main list caps it at 89, so a score above 90 means nothing worth fixing was found.
Each category starts at 100 and stays there when nothing was found in it, whether or not the inspection got that far. Each distinct verified finding deducts 60 points for a serious problem on the path from arriving to paying, 40 for another serious problem, 30, 15 or 8 by high, medium or low severity otherwise, and 4 for an audit finding. Each additional finding below the list takes 2 more points off the overall score, up to 10. Scores stop at zero and round to whole numbers. The formula is fixed and versioned, so the same saved evidence always receives the same score.
The newsletter Join box returns a 429 and does not sign visitors up
Visitors who ask for the Motion Cheat Sheet are not subscribed and have to enter their email again on a separate page.
Pressing Join with a valid email in the "Want the free Motion Cheat Sheet?" box on the home editor sent POST /api/subscribe, which returned a 429 with an HTML error page. The box showed no confirmation. Instead it read "Sign-ups are open on our newsletter page." with a link to the beehiiv page. The Join box on /made/penny-app-demo/ gave the same 429 and the same text, and the beehiiv page asks for the email again and never mentions the Motion Cheat Sheet, so a visitor at the newsletter signup step does not get the offer they asked for.
Try it: Open https://oneshotprompts.com/, press Copy prompt, enter an email in the Cheat Sheet box and press Join with the network tab open. Check whether POST /api/subscribe returns 429 and whether the box shows "Sign-ups are open on our newsletter page."
The /agents/ page took 4.1 seconds to show its main content once
On desktop, the largest content on /agents/ painted at 4,064 ms. Google classes anything over 4,000 ms as poor. A second load did not cross that threshold, so the delay is intermittent, and the measurement did not identify which element painted last.
The home page is missing four security response headers
The response from https://oneshotprompts.com/#/motion-design is missing Strict-Transport-Security, Content-Security-Policy, CSP frame-ancestors or X-Frame-Options, and Cross-Origin-Resource-Policy.
Storyboard scene rows nest focusable controls inside a button
Assistive technology can announce the whole row as one button and hide the controls inside it from screen reader users trying the editor.
Keyboard users cannot reach controls inside the /made/ demo embeds
Two showcase iframes on /made/ have tabindex=-1 even though they contain focusable content: the first article's stage embed and the "Penny: an app demo with sound" embed. Keyboard users cannot reach controls inside these demos, such as the "Sound on" toggle.
