How the composite score works
The overall score is a weighted average of the categories: Getting the product 40%, Trust before buying 20%, Mobile 15%, Speed 15%, and Polish and audit 10%. It is never more than 10 points above the Getting the product score, because a product a visitor cannot get cannot score well on anything else, and never more than 25 points above the weakest category, so one badly broken area is not averaged away. Any issue in the main list caps it at 89, so a score above 90 means nothing worth fixing was found.
Each category starts at 100 and stays there when nothing was found in it, whether or not the inspection got that far. Each distinct verified finding deducts 60 points for a serious problem on the path from arriving to paying, 40 for another serious problem, 30, 15 or 8 by high, medium or low severity otherwise, and 4 for an audit finding. Each additional finding below the list takes 2 more points off the overall score, up to 10. Scores stop at zero and round to whole numbers. The formula is fixed and versioned, so the same saved evidence always receives the same score.
The home page hero screenshot is a 986 KB PNG shown at 562px
On the home page, the hero image /screenshots/device/ipad/profitability-by-crop.png is 2929x2245 pixels but renders at 562x424 on a 1x desktop display. It transfers 986,183 bytes. Largest contentful paint still measured 788 ms and 716 ms, so the extra weight does not delay first view on desktop.
The home page has no canonical link or twitter:card tag
The head of the home page at / has no canonical link and no twitter:card meta tag. The title, description, favicon, og:title, og:description and og:image are all present, and the og:image returns 200.
The home page is missing two security response headers
The response from https://harvestprofit.com/ is missing Content-Security-Policy and Cross-Origin-Resource-Policy.
Policy banner links fall below the required text contrast
On the home page, the policy-update banner shows its Privacy Policy, Terms of Service and Dismiss links in #a07800 on a #ffeeba background. That gives a contrast ratio of 3.51:1, and WCAG AA requires 4.5:1 for 16px normal text. The links are readable but faint for visitors with low vision.
The home page html element has no lang attribute
Without the attribute, screen readers have to guess the page language when they read the product description and trial buttons aloud.
The home page "Harvest Profit" text link looks like plain text
On the home page, the "Harvest Profit" link (a.text-light to index.html) has no underline and is #b6b9bd against surrounding text at #c2c4c6. That is a 1.12:1 contrast, and the requirement is 3:1. The link only leads back to the home page, so no step between arriving and paying depends on it.
