How the composite score works
The overall score is a weighted average of the categories: Getting the product 40%, Trust before buying 20%, Mobile 15%, Speed 15%, and Polish and audit 10%. It is never more than 10 points above the Getting the product score, because a product a visitor cannot get cannot score well on anything else, and never more than 25 points above the weakest category, so one badly broken area is not averaged away. Any issue in the main list caps it at 89, so a score above 90 means nothing worth fixing was found.
Each category starts at 100 and stays there when nothing was found in it, whether or not the inspection got that far. Each distinct verified finding deducts 60 points for a serious problem on the path from arriving to paying, 40 for another serious problem, 30, 15 or 8 by high, medium or low severity otherwise, and 4 for an audit finding. Each additional finding below the list takes 2 more points off the overall score, up to 10. Scores stop at zero and round to whole numbers. The formula is fixed and versioned, so the same saved evidence always receives the same score.
Pricing says Voice is macOS-only but also says Mac + Windows
Windows developers deciding whether Pro is worth $29 over Starter at $17 cannot tell if Voice, the feature Pro adds, will work for them.
On /pricing, the comparison table row reads "SwarmPane Voice: dictation and voice commands (macOS for now)", while the Pro plan card lists Voice as "Mac + Windows". The /voice page breadcrumb says "PRO · MACOS" but its hero line says "Mac (macOS 13 or later) and Windows, with Linux next · Pro $29/month". Windows buyers meet these conflicting answers at the plan choice, and Voice is the feature that separates Pro from Starter.
Try it: Open /pricing and compare the Pro card's Voice line with the "macOS for now" row in the "Which one? Side by side." table. Then open /voice and compare the breadcrumb with the line under the buttons.
On a phone, /record offers only a Mac .dmg download
Visitors who find Swarm Record on a phone have no way to get it to their computer from this page.
On an iPhone, the main button on /record reads "Download for macOS" and links to SwarmRecord-0.2.1.dmg, a file a phone cannot open. The page has no email-me-the-link option, although /downloads offers one on phones ("We'll email you the link to open there"). The Export button in the Live editor demo also links to the same Mac .dmg, so Windows and Linux visitors who try the demo receive a Mac installer at the download step.
Try it: Open https://swarmpane.com/record on an iPhone and tap "Download for macOS". Then, on a Linux or Windows desktop, check where the Live editor's Export button links.
The pricing table leaves Swarm Record out of Pro
Buyers choosing between Starter and Pro cannot tell from the comparison table whether Pro includes Swarm Record.
On /pricing, the Pro card says "Pro adds Voice, Swarm Record and Video Studio", but the "Which one? Side by side." comparison on the same page says "Pro adds SwarmPane Voice and Video Studio, and doubles the Jev tokens". The table also has no Swarm Record row. /product and the home FAQ give the same shorter list, while /record says it is "Included with Pro and Ultra", so a buyer comparing plans at the pricing step sees two different answers.
Try it: Open /pricing and read the Pro card's list of extras. Then scroll to "Which one? Side by side." and look through the table rows for Swarm Record.
Subscribe to Pro drops the chosen plan and opens a 6-step signup
Buyers who pick Pro on yearly billing reach a signup page that never mentions Pro, yearly billing or the $290 price, so they cannot tell whether the "2 months free" price will still apply.
On /pricing, choosing Yearly and clicking "Subscribe to Pro" ($24.17/month, billed $290 yearly) opens the plain /signup URL. That page reads "STEP 1 OF 6 · YOUR ACCOUNT. Create your account. Then choose a plan for the app." and does not show the plan, billing period or price. A buyer who has already decided to pay meets this at signup and has to make the same plan choice again several steps later.
Try it: Open /pricing, switch to Yearly and click Subscribe to Pro. The URL is plain /signup, and the page says "Step 1 of 6" and "Then choose a plan" without naming Pro or $290.
The demo video's chapter segments are 3px tall on phones
On /product at phone width, the chapter buttons in the demo video's progress bar, such as "Play from Your checks decide" and "Play from Dashboard", are about 17 to 18px wide and 3px tall. Each has about 17.4px of clear space around it, which is less than the 24px minimum. The video still plays by itself and has full-size pause and fullscreen buttons, so the only thing affected is jumping to a specific chapter.
The home page response has no Cross-Origin-Resource-Policy header
The response from https://swarmpane.com/ is missing Cross-Origin-Resource-Policy.
The demo agent table on /product has rows without cell roles
On /product, the demo's agent lanes use role="row" but contain plain spans and role="img" children, with no cell or columnheader roles. Assistive technology cannot present this demo table as a table.
Header Get started button and CLI labels fall short of contrast minimum
On the home page, the header Get started button has white text on #3f6ef0 at 4.46:1, against a 4.5:1 requirement. The code labels "claude" and "copilot" (#6b7387 on #0c1019, 12px) are at 4.01:1. The same rule fails on /product, /record, /voice and /arena.
The live editor's speed segment button has no accessible name
On /record, the speed segment in the live editor's Speed track is a span with role="button" and tabindex="0", and it has no text, aria-label or title. Assistive technology reads it as a button with no name. It sits in the demo timeline, not on the download or plan links.
