How the composite score works
The overall score is a weighted average: Visual 18.75%, Accessibility 25%, Buttons and links 31.25%, Under the hood 12.5%, and Mobile 12.5%. Unassessed categories are excluded and the remaining weights are normalized.
Product categories start at 100. Each distinct verified finding deducts 30 points for a reproduced flow defect, or 18 for critical, 12 for high, 7 for medium, and 3 for low stored detector severity. Scores stop at zero and round to whole numbers. All verified findings count, including those beyond the displayed list. The formula is fixed and versioned, so the same saved evidence always receives the same score.
One resource entry claims 200+ and 190+ jurisdictions
A single resource card on /resources contradicts itself on jurisdiction coverage. The heading reads "200+ Jurisdictions Worldwide" while the body directly beneath it reads "GREP AI covers corporate registries, regulatory databases, and compliance sources across 190+ jurisdictions. North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and beyond." Both lines belong to the same entry, so one of the two coverage numbers is wrong.
Try it: Open /resources and scroll to the "200+ Jurisdictions Worldwide" card, then read the description line under the heading.
The hero image renders far above its native resolution
On /for-enterprise/marketplaces-platforms at mobile width, the hero background image (marketplaces-platforms-1400x600.webp) is served at an intrinsic 390x167 but painted into a 390x785 box with object-fit: cover, so it is upscaled roughly 4.7x vertically on top of a device pixel ratio of 3. The result is the visibly soft, smeared structure detail behind the headline. The file still costs 218 KB on the wire despite carrying only 390x167 pixels of real detail.
Try it: Open /for-enterprise/marketplaces-platforms on a phone and inspect the hero img: naturalWidth/naturalHeight read 390x167 while the element renders 390x785.
The homepage response omits Cross-Origin-Resource-Policy
The response from https://grep.ai/ is missing Cross-Origin-Resource-Policy.
Try it: Run curl -sI https://grep.ai/ and check the response headers for Cross-Origin-Resource-Policy.
Blog card text falls below the AA contrast ratio
On /blog, the post metadata and card excerpts render at a contrast ratio of 4.39:1, below the 4.5:1 minimum required by WCAG 2.1 AA for normal text. The affected nodes include the date element time[datetime="2026-09-08T12:00:00.000Z"], the author span in the featured card, and the .grep-blog-card-excerpt paragraph, all using foreground #71717a on background #f4f4f5 at 11px and 16px. axe-core classes the failure as serious. The same grey is used for dates, authors, and summaries across the card grid.
Try it: Open /blog and sample the date, author, and excerpt text colors with a contrast checker: #71717a on #f4f4f5 measures 4.39:1.
The objective dropdown cuts off its label on mobile
On /for-enterprise/marketplaces-platforms at a 390px viewport, the select under the Define tab clips its own option text. The label renders as "Verify 2,400 new sellers: registration, sanctions" with the final "s" sliced vertically at the clip edge just left of the chevron, and no ellipsis marks the cut. The rest of the option text after that point is not reachable without opening the native picker, so the preset the control is showing cannot be read in full.
Try it: Open /for-enterprise/marketplaces-platforms on a 390px-wide phone viewport, scroll to the Define tab, and look at the right edge of the objective dropdown next to the chevron.
A customer logo is cut off in the logo strip
On /for-business at a 390px viewport, the first logo in the second row of the "Trusted by teams that can't afford to get it wrong" strip is clipped at its left edge by the container. Only the tail of the wordmark and the trailing mark render, while the leading characters are cut off at the strip boundary. The other logos in the strip, including Airwallex, TRM and astreya, render in full.
Try it: Open /for-business on a 390px wide phone viewport, scroll to the customer logo strip, and look at the leftmost logo in the second row.
A rough edge in the layout
The citation marker in the body paragraph breaks across lines, leaving the bracketed reference split with its closing character orphaned on its own line.
